'Morning!

Not going to lie, waking up before the sun comes up is hard. Very hard. But it was totally worth it to get that amazing golden sunrise light. A local sunflower field is very popular this time of year (when they first bloom) to the point where it's hard to get pictures without a few families in the background. I still wanted to go though and see it for myself as I've heard so much about it. I figured the only time there was any hope to have some area to myself would be early morning. VERY early morning. But who would be willing and crazy enough as me to wake up that early? Well my friend Julie would be! haha. Always game for a new photography adventure, I collected some coffee, she met me there and we got some really amazing shots with beautiful backlighting from the rising sun. Definitely a great experience.

This is one of my favorites, but to see some more shots in the sunflowers, go to the Portraits Album.
