According to the little percentage message after each lecture, I'm 30% done this course. yay! Currently we're going over how to use the DSLR camera manually (as apposed to automatically), which is really cool and bring back a whole lot of what I learned in school. While I know the picture that I posted in the Everyday Photo Opp album isn't perfect, I think the idea behind it was pretty cool. I was messing around with shutter speeds and exposure. Myself and the camera were getting too cold to toy with the settings for too long, but here are the stats for this particular one: ISO 1000, 5 second shutter speed, f/4.5, 40mm, RAW. I tried it with a lower ISO but it was too dark. Still getting the hang of things, but I consider this a good start!
